    The Forum will include technical presentations, workshops, an interactive game, roundtable discussions, and a field trip.

     

    Day 1: CLIMATE FINANCE CHALLENGES. Day 1 of the GO CFF sets the scene with an opening plenary and interventions from high-level speakers on access to multilateral and bilateral climate finance, unlocking private finance, and financial resilience.

     

    Day 2: CLIMATE FINANCE IN PRACTICE takes a deeper dive into OCT experiences with presentations and panel discussions on climate-responsive public financial management and financing resilience in practice. In the afternoon, delegates will be offered the opportunity to visit a site in and around Brussels to learn about different projects and experiences of building climate resilience in Belgium that have been financed and implemented.

     

    Day 3: ACCESS TO CLIMATE FINANCE focusses on lessons from experiences of OCTs with different climate funds, followed by an interactive game around decision making in building financial resilience.

     

    Day 4: INNOVATIONS IN CLIMATE FINANCE starts with a series of short presentations on innovations in strengthening financial resilience and private sector financing in OCTs, followed by a ‘World Café’ in the afternoon to allow delegates to interact with presenters.

     

    Day 5: CLIMATE FINANCE ADVOCACY the final day of the GO CFF, will aim to develop an agreed set of priorities for action and next steps for improving climate finance access and use in OCTs.

     

    At the end of each day, the conference team will produce a summary of highlights from the day’s discussions and presentations for social media and to report back at the start of the next day of the Forum.
