•           The GO Facility set up in Anguilla has been deployed to address the challenges of groundwater depletion, lack of aquifer resources, increasing salinity and heavy reliance on energy-intensive desalination. Aligned with national climate and water policies, it is based on a coherent, integrated approach to the sustainable management of groundwater resources. The objectives of this facility focused on three main areas: water security, water quality monitoring, and water resource management.

  •           The project is aligned with the Anguilla National Ecosystem Assessment and takes into account the impacts of climate change, thus guaranteeing an intervention consistent with the challenges identified, and is based on a collaborative approach integrating several key players: the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Department of Natural Resources and the Water Corporation of Anguilla. This division of roles enables the regulatory, environmental and operational dimensions of water management to be covered, thus guaranteeing an inclusive and effective approach to meeting public policy objectives in terms of climate resilience.
