• The Green Overseas (GO) Energy Transition Community is pleased to announce an upcoming online training series focused on Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling (S&L). This series, part of the GO Programme’s Energy Transition workstream, offers OCTs vital knowledge on S&L practices worldwide and how they can support energy efficiency goals across territories.

  • Objective of the Workshop: This five-session training aims to build foundational understanding in energy efficiency standards for appliances and buildings, with a focus on adapting these standards for OCT contexts. Topics will include:

    • Key aspects of S&L development and stakeholder engagement
    • Practical steps for implementing S&L standards in OCTs, including technical assessments
    • Effective monitoring, verification, and enforcement (MVE) mechanisms
    • Evaluation methods and real-world case studies from different islands
  • Dates and Structure: The sessions will be held during the weeks of November 25 and December 4, 2024.
