• The "support for the development of eco-building" in Wallis and Futuna, supported by the Green Overseas Program, is enjoying wide media visibility. It was recently featured twice on Wallis & Futuna La 1ère:

    • In the Televised News of September 23, 2025,

    • And on the radio program Fia Mahino on September 26, 2025.

  • During the JT, Julie Lucas, the program's regional coordinator, along with representatives from the Solener company, presented the approach and emphasized the importance of drawing on traditional know-how - such as falé - to inspire contemporary models that are resilient in the face of climate change.

  • On Fia Mahino, Ateliana Maugateau and Mohamed Abdessalam detailed the facility's objectives:

    .

    • Valuing traditional know-how to strengthen the resilience of constructions.

    • Promote resource-efficient architecture adapted to local realities.

    • Make practical guides and, soon, explanatory videos available to professionals.

  • This double media coverage testifies to the interest shown in eco-construction in the Pacific and helps to increase the visibility of the Green Overseas Program's actions, both among professionals and the general public.

The Green Overseas Program warmly thanks Wallis-et-Futuna La 1ère for the attention given to this initiative and its role in promoting local actions.
